Entitlement

Sony and Nintendo had disappointing E3 presentations to me. Sony had far too many shooters that looked the same, and anyone who doesn't like Smash Bros would have fallen asleep with Nintendo. And if you felt the same, many would call you entitled. Calling someone entitled is almost as irritating as complaining about censorship. Everyone uses the word without understanding what it means.

It isn't entitlement to be disappointed by a show. It isn't entitlement to wish Nintendo announced Animal Crossing. Nintendo needs to know what their customers want. Nintendo's customers need to be clear what they want. It isn't entitlement when you complain about what shows are on Netflix. It isn't entitlement to want a certain type of car. It isn't entitlement to eat good food. Why is it entitlement to want a game to be announced? Why is it entitlement to want to pay money for a game? Why is it entitlement to want more than one type of game on a console? It isn't. Stop saying that people who voice their opinions are entitled. They are entitled to their opinion, as you art to yours. If people are afraid to speak out about something because they don't want to feel entitled, nothing would change.
