A Nintendo Direct has been announced for September 6 2018. It will feature information about upcoming 3DS and Nintendo Switch games.
It starts at 3:00 PM Pacific Time/6:00 PM Eastern Time.

UPDATE: A Tweet from Nintendo of America announced that the September 6 2018 Direct has been postponed to an unannounced date. This is due to a large earthquake that happened in Hokkaido Japan.
