The highly anticipated fourth entry in the Metroid Prime series has been delayed. The game's development was going in a bad direction, so the team scrapped what they had and is starting over with with Retro Studios, who made the first three Metroid Prime games. No release date is known, although it wasn't known beforehand either. Personally I am sad that it's delayed, but I'm glad that Nintendo updated us and actually explained why it was delayed. It would have been far easier for them to just not show it for a few years and leave its disappearance a mystery. Here's the source of this information:
