Weekly Review | January 19 - 26

Welcome to the first weekly recap, where I share what's been happening over the last week.

Superola and the Lost Burgers is a visually interesting but incredibly boring runner game. It's got decent music, and okay artstyle, and simple gameplay. Too simple.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is the latest Smash Bros game, and it's the most packed with content. The whole game is a blast to play, and part of that is thanks to the attention to detail. Every character feels right, and the stages they fight on are pretty great too.

The Kanto region is home to many Pokemon fans' heart, but its also gotten somewhat stale. The region has been done to death and many Pokemon fans are tired of it.

Metroid Prime 4 has been delayed, even though we didn't have a release date anyway. The development of the game was going in a direction they feared wouldn't live up to the previous games in the series, so most of the work done has been scrapped and the game is being worked on by Retro Studios.

Despite Super Smash Bros Ultimate being a great game, its adventure mode, World of Light, isn't. It's a bit tedious and boring, largely due to the lack of interaction between the characters and the lack of multiplayer.

Scribblenauts Unlimited is a game where you can spawn pretty much anything you want. Sounds like generic buzzwords but they're not paying me so I have no reason to lie to you. You need to solve various puzzles by spawning the right objects. During the enjoyable gameplay, you'll have great music and plenty of laughs

Minecraft is available on the Nintendo Switch. It's not newsworthy but it's still a fun way to play Minecraft anywhere. It's simple, it's fun, it's Minecraft. There really isn't much to say here.
